Farmers Market Downtown Ambassadors
Programs & Projects

Downtown Vision is dedicated to improving the street environment, bringing more people Downtown, and advocating for the interests of Downtown stakeholders.  Our major programs and projects include the following:

Downtown Ambassadors

Our Downtown Ambassadors are paid and trained staff that serve as an extra set of eyes and ears to make Downtown more comfortable and friendly.  Easily recognized by their orange shirts and pith helmets, the Downtown Ambassadors patrol the Downtown Improvement District seven days a week.

Downtown Clean Team

Downtown Vision contracts with Catholic Charities to pick up litter and remove graffiti in the Downtown Improvement District.  You will know our team when you see them with their orange vests and bright yellow trash cans.

Information on Downtown

We have a wealth of information on Downtown on our website www.downtownjacksonville.org, as well as in our bi-weekly events email, Get Downtown; our monthly email update, Inkspots; and our quarterly Downtown development update.
